Now Hiring — Full-time & PRN Respiratory Therapist
Piggott Community Hospital is hiring Respiratory Therapists for full-time and part-time positions.
As a Respiratory Therapists, you will perform treatments including ventilator care, arterial blood gas sticks and analysis, EKG, PFT, oxygen rounds, Holter Monitoring and Pulmonary Function Testing.
Education: Graduation from an approved school of Respiratory Therapy (two-year minimum program) is preferred. Must be registered or certified as a Therapist by the State of Arkansas. NBRC certified.
Experience: One year of experience in the field of Respiratory Care is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is desired. To utilize the hospital’s electronic data systems, individuals must have average typing skills and be comfortable working with a computer keyboard and mouse.
Physical: Normal hospital environment. Normal/corrected eyesight. Full range of hearing. Operates ventilator, ABG machine, oxygen, CPAP, BIPAP and nebulizer. Lifts and carries up to 35 lbs. Pushing and pulling up to 75 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
