Southeast Missouri Home Health Agency (formerly Campbell Home Health Agency) is seeking an covering Dunklin and Pemiscot counties.  This would be a full-time position.

JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse

DEPARTMENT: Home Health

REPORTS TO: Director of Clinical Services and Home Health (Administrator)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Associate, diploma, or Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required. Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas and Missouri. Must maintain drivers’ license valid in state of Arkansas or Missouri and automobile liability insurance.

EXPERIENCE: Two years nursing experience in hospital or community setting. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice including basic knowledge related to the biological, physical, social, and medical science, etc. to contribute to keen assessment skills. To utilize the hospital’s electronic data systems, individuals must have average typing skills and be comfortable working with a computer keyboard and mouse.

PHYSICAL: Frequent inside and outside work. Close eye work. Hearing with normal range. Uses diabetic home monitoring equipment, thermometers, suction, IV therapy equipment, oxygen therapy equipment, hoyer lift, beepers, telephone and automobile. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Lifting, pushing/pulling up to 250lbs. Carry up to 10lbs.

JOB SUMMARY:

A Registered Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Administrator of Home Health and/or Assistant Administrator of Home Health.
